KDAS-type composite seal is a two-way role piston seal. A combination of an NBR elastomer seal ring, two open cut polyurethane elastomer snap rings and two open cut POM guide rings. The sealing ring provides excellent sealing in both static and dynamic conditions, while the retaining ring prevents the NBR seal ring from being pushed into the sealing gap. The guide ring acts as a guide for piston movement in the cylinder and absorbs radial forces. This design provides a compact seal, retaining ring and guide combination, can be used for open and closed trench. KDAS-type combination seal in the installation in the following order "NBR seal ring - ring - guide ring." It should be noted that the contact points (gaps) of the guide ring and the retaining ring are arranged in a staggered position.

Mechanism of action: Three sealing lips are located on the outside diameter. Two outer end lips are used as an additional seal, the intermediate seal lip is wider and is the primary seal lip. At the inner diameter of the seal (static seal), the contact surface with the groove bottom diameter is relatively wide. A snap ring is mounted on each side to support the elastomer and prevent extrusion. The stepped retainer prevents the seal from rotating during operation.
